Nye's Used Books Trade Policy
Nye's Used Books sells used books in good or better condition. Books will be considered for trade if they meet the following criteria:
• Cover and all pages are in tact and in good condition.
• Books must not have any water damage, mold, mites or any unusual odor.
• Books must not have any stains or excessive wear.
• Hardcover books must have original dust jacket.
Nye's Used Books reserves the right to decline books. Please do not take it personally. We may simply be over-stocked on an item, the condition may not meet our standards, or the clerk may feel that the book does not have an appropriate resale value.
Book Trade Policy Overview:
Nye's Used Books will buy back books at 30% of list price which gets applied to a credit account within the store.
Credit can be redeemed at a rate of half cash/half credit. For example, to buy a $4.00 book, you can apply $2.00 in credit and must pay $2.00 in cash, plus tax.
Credit is NOT valid toward other types of merchandise in the store (cards, & gifts), . Credit is kept on file at Nye's Used Books.
